A total of 163 Reedley College students will be receiving $73,450 in scholarships during the annual Scholarship and Awards Reception on Tuesday, September 12. The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Student Center with a scholarship donor and recipient social, then followed by the awarding ceremony held in the Cafeteria.
Scholarships are funded by the generosity of individuals and organizations that establish scholarships through the Reedley College Foundation and State Center Community College Foundation. The funds assist students in paying for their educational expenses and are awarded on a competitive and/or special criteria basis.
This year’s local recipients include graduates of Dinuba High School, Fowler High School, Immanuel High School, Kings Canyon Adult School, Kingsburg High School, Orange Cove High School, Orosi High School, Parlier High School, Reedley High School, Reedley Middle College High School, Sanger High School, and Selma High School.
